Comprehensive quality of life development by local government organizations for older person in Thailand: A case study of Nong Lan subdistrict municipality, Kanchanaburi and Talad Mai Subdistrict administrative organization, Ang Thong

This research project aims to comprehensively improve the quality of life for Thai elderly individuals, focusing on the local administrative organizations of Nong Lan Subdistrict Municipality in Tha Maka District, Kanchanaburi Province, and the Talat Mai Subdistrict Administrative Organization area in Wiset Chai Chan District, Ang Thong Province. The objective is to transfer knowledge and innovations to enhance the well-being of the elderly to local government organizations (Local Administrative Organizations) and the general public, particularly targeting elderly individuals in these areas. The goal is to encourage and facilitate the application of research findings.A crucial aspect of this endeavor is the development of projects aimed at increasing efficiency in the management of local administrative organizations, with a specific focus on initiatives to promote employment and lifelong learning. The aim is to foster collaboration among all stakeholders in the target areas and to sustainably improve the quality of life for the elderly through a participatory action research model (Participatory Action Research: PAR). The implementation period spans from November 1, 2022 to January 31, 2024.
